We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our busy team based at our Tokyo office. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in Japan/International business development, and be able to work to tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of work delivered.

As part of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and successfully delivering business plans for our expanding international client base. This is a hands on, results driven post.

To be considered for this position you must have native level Japanese language skills, as well as excellent command of the English Language, a track record of sales and marketing activities in Japan, and a technical background.

Successful candidates will:

• Have native level Japanese language skills, and excellent command of the English language
• Have experience of working in a sales/business development environment
• Have experience of working in technology or a specialist industry sector
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to think creatively as well as analytically
• The ability to complete tasks to an efficient and excellent starndard
• Have a strong understanding of how to win business in Japan
• Be educated to degree level
• A strong human network of relevant contacts will be an advantage
• Be able to travel internationally
